Booked a reservation (2 pax) for Saturday at 6pm through OpenTable. Details were asked so I specified that it was my fiancee’s birthday dinner, and to add in the special request box, I said I would like to order a slice of carrot cake ahead and to kindly scribble happy birthday on the plate that it would be served on. Long story short, the request wasn’t performed. Our server didn’t bother to read the details of the reservation (maybe details shouldn’t be asked if they are purposefully overlooked anyway!). We ordered steaks each, one medium and one medium rare. You couldn’t tell the difference. I didn’t want to make a stink since it would ruin the mood of a happy birthday dinner. Server refilled our waters once, didn’t follow up to see if we wanted additional drinks, or how the steaks were. I’d like to add that it wasn’t a busy evening. Just poor service it seems. The service and the pricepoint did not match at all. $200+ for two people—you would think the experience would be memorable in a good way. We tried the restaurant because we wanted steaks! And wilfire oshawa brands itself as a steakhouse. But never again. Would not recommend. Best to spend the same amount at The Keg and walk away 100% satisfied.

We've found our new favourite place. Steaks were thick and juicy. Portions were well sized. Everything was served piping hot. Service was attentive and unobtrusive. We didn't try anything from the bar menu but will next time. Nice selection of gins, vodkas and scotchs. Extensive wine selection. Tables are nicely spaced out, so there was no overhearing other conversations, and there was room to move easily. My son and husband tried the summerfest menu, which was an excellent option for the price. One had calamari, duck breast, and New York cheesecake. The other had grilled Caesar salad, New York striploin, and New York cheesecake. From the main menu, I had the heirloom beet salad, the New York striploin, and the chocolate cake. The menu is well varied without the sense that it might be too long. There were several tempting options for both apps and entrees, so we'll have to return soon. The staff were excellent and appeared to work well together. Although several tables were cleared and reset while we were there, they were done quietly with no dish clattering or silverware rattle. (Pet peeve of mine) Not priced for every day but for a special occasion meal it is just perfect. We'll be back as soon as I can find an excuse.

Decided to take my mum out and try Wildfire for the first time! Jaime gave us top class service that surely comes with experience. Thank you for the quality food recommendations and taking the time to care for our experience. Will be back for the next special occasion. Only one feedback to give, don't be shy to give some more of the delicious fries. 4.5/5

The food here is seriously top notch. Each steak was done with perfection. Not to mention the service was fast and friendly and the servers are very helpful. Chelsea attended to us and was extremely helpful.

Food is excellent, and the Summerfest menu had a great variety to choose from at a great price. Service was a little slow, which was surprising because the restaurant wasn't busy. Will still come back because the food was great.

Amazing food and service

Excellent food, great service. Arrived late on a Friday (8:45pm), the server let us know they closed at 9, but didn't rush us. Helped with wine choice, appetizers were absolutely splendid. Dinner was great as well.

This was our first visit to Wildfire, and from the time we entered the host, were very pleasant at the door, Our server JAIMY was also very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Thank you.
