Wonderful spot, great service! Fall menu was really nice. Super pricy, steak was a bit overcooked, but still very tasty.

Went there with my family just a lil before Labour Day Weekend (the nite of Sept 1st, 2026 to be exact) and it was a great dining experience. The ambiance, with the loft style ceilings, was classy, relaxed and modern with an edgy touch! Bathrooms are clean, well stocked and modern too. COLLEEN was an exceptional server and provided prompt, friendly service. Her suggestions were great and she went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied with our drinks and meals. She offered optimal customer service! From beginning to end the food was wonderful; GREAT apps, entrees, drinks and desserts. Good portion size. We loved the specialty summer menu that was perfectly charted! The stars of the show were the lobster poutine and cheesecake, both were unforgettable and so very delicious. We hope they have a special menu for every season especially now that Autumn is upon us. We look forward to going back real soon! I am a trusted foodie and believe me when I say, this culinary gem is one of the best restaurants in Durham Region!

I stumbled upon Wildfire by chance. After a cross-province drive with my partner, we were determined to eat a juicy steak in an independently operated restaurant, rather than a commercial, branded chain steakhouse. Upon entry, we were immediately greeted by Jaymie, our host for the evening. She provided extremely helpful guidance and tips as to the best menu items to select. We went a little overboard with the ordering, but there were absolutely no regrets from either of us. Between the two of us, we tried the filet mignon, ribeye, duck, calamari and their cheesy garlic bread. The steaks were fantastic, cooked to our requested temp, were well-seasoned and it was nice having the opportunity to try a few different things on the menu rather than sticking to one dish. But I have to give a special mention to the garlic bread. I know it sounds ridiculous to rave about garlic bread at a steakhouse, but it was to die for. I'd genuinely travel across 3 provinces again just for that. Jaymie informed me that all the sides are house made, and you really could tell that was the case. The mashed potatoes were incredibly rich and savory, you could tell by the mouth feel that a ton of real butter and cream were used. The restaurant itself has a really nice atmosphere. Upscale without feeling overly pretentious, and the kind of place where you can actually relax and enjoy a good meal without having to dress like you're going to a wedding or a funeral. The bathrooms were very clean, and the barn doors were a nice touch, although they could definitely use a touch of paint to match the esthetic. The decor and lighting provided an upscale, classy feel, with a mix of stone and wood in the decor throughout the restaurant and bar area. All around, it was a really enjoyable dining experience and easily one of the highlights of our trip. It's refreshing to visit somewhere that takes pride in what they're serving. Would absolutely recommend giving Wildfire a try if you're in the Oshawa area. And seriously, don't skip the garlic bread. I would also like to give Jaymie a standing ovation. Her service was questionably the best I've ever received in a restaurant environment. She was always keeping a watchful eye on our drinks and made sure that every single item we were served was up to our satisfaction. She also did an amazing job at making small talk, telling us the history of the restaurant and answering any question we had.

Don’t skip on the desserts too!!

The food and service were both fantastic! Our server Jaimy was incredibly thoughtful and accommodating, knowing we had a movie to catch. She made sure our food came out quickly without ever making us feel rushed. Everything was delicious, and we really appreciated the extra care and consideration. Such a great dining experience, we will definitely return!

I’ve been fortunate to be here multiple times and the food and service have always been impressive. I had the duck last night and it was superb.

I loved my experience at Wildfire Steakhouse. I came in to celebrate my birthday and Jaimy was so great. She made sure to double check when I ordered a drink that could potentially have had aa fruit I was allergic. She also treated me to dessert on the house. What an absolute gem! The food was amazing and atmosphere was very relaxing. Will definitely be back again
